About us

We are Zitro

We are a payments company. We process transactions and we find solutions where the standard ones fall short — which, in the markets we work in, is most of the time.

Approach

Built by people who have run this at volume

Zitro was put together by people who had already spent years inside payment operations and knew exactly which parts hurt. That is why the platform is opinionated: it reconciles obsessively, it refuses to close a transaction it cannot prove, and it treats every market as its own problem rather than a row in a table.

Approach

How we work

Six habits, learned the hard way, that decide how every engagement runs.

01

Understand first

We start with how your money actually moves today, not with what we would like to sell you.

02

Build for the market

What works in one country is often useless in the next. We treat each one on its own terms.

03

Integrate cleanly

Our complexity stays on our side of the API. Yours should not grow because ours did.

04

Prove everything

A number we cannot trace is a number we do not report. Reconciliation is not a monthly ritual here.

05

Say it plainly

If something is broken, slow, or a bad idea, you hear it from us early and in plain words.

06

Stay available

Payments do not keep office hours, and neither does the team responsible for yours.

Principles

What we will not trade away

Correct beats convenient

Given the choice between closing a transaction quickly and closing it correctly, we close it correctly. An unmatched payment is a problem; a wrongly matched one is a liability.

One integration, many markets

Complexity is our job. You should be able to enter a new market without writing a new integration for it.

Transparency by default

You see the state of your payments as we see it, including the parts that are not going well. Nothing is smoothed over on the way to you.

Long-term over quick wins

We would rather keep a client for years on sensible terms than win one on promises we would have to walk back.
